Kellie Hinkle is the founder and CEO of Brightside Advisors, a consulting firm focused on nonprofits and mission-driven organizations. With a professional portfolio spanning over two decades and encompassing executive roles in multiple organizations, she has extensive experience leading the design of clear and actionable strategies, building lasting systems and processes, translating data into meaningful stories, strengthening workplace culture, and fostering continuous learning and improvement.

Kellie has held senior leadership roles at national nonprofits, including serving as President of Code Nation and Senior Vice President at City Year. She has overseen organizational growth, led internal operations across multiple functions, secured significant public funding, and developed data-driven and equity-focused strategies and policies.

Kellie’s areas of expertise include operational excellence, strategic planning, program development and implementation, fostering a data-driven culture, and transforming HR practices to empower organizations and employees.

Kellie holds an MBA from University of the People, a Certificate of Education Finance from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, an Effective School Board Governance Certificate from Colorado State University, and a Senior Certified Professional credential from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). She is also President of her local school board in NJ, a member of the New Jersey School Boards Association’s School Finance Committee, and Board Treasurer for Railtowns.org.
